These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of www.orvicks.com and our related services, content, features and tools (collectively, the “Services”).
By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, Return & Refund Policy, and Shipping Policy.
If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

We sell primarily to consumers in the United Kingdom & Ierland.
If you buy as a business, additional or separate terms may apply.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old (the age of majority in the UK) to use our Services or make a purchase.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information at all times.

3. Pre-Contract Information (Distance Sales)

We provide all required pre-contract information under UK & Irish consumer law, including our identity, the main characteristics of the goods, total price (including taxes), delivery arrangements, and your right to cancel. See our Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy for more details.

4. Products, Pricing & Availability

  • Product descriptions and images are provided in good faith. Colours or appearance may vary slightly due to device screens.
  • We may correct errors (including pricing and availability), update descriptions, limit quantities, or discontinue items.
  • Prices include all mandatory taxes or charges and are shown clearly at checkout.
  • We do not create or pay for fake reviews and actively moderate all feedback for authenticity.

5. Orders & Contract Formation

  • Your order represents an offer to purchase. A binding contract forms only once we send an order confirmation or dispatch notice.
  • We may cancel or refuse an order (with full refund) in cases of stock issues, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or other legal restrictions.

6. Payments, Billing & VAT

  • You authorise us and our payment providers to charge your chosen payment method for the total order amount (including taxes and delivery).
  • You confirm you are authorised to use that payment method.
  • Full card details are processed securely by our payment providers; we do not store them.
  • Invoices or receipts may be issued electronically.
  • Fraud screening: We may perform additional verification or hold an order temporarily for fraud checks or address confirmation. This protects both you and our store from unauthorized transactions.

7. Delivery, Risk & Title

  • Delivery times shown on our website are estimates, not guarantees. See our Shipping Policy for full details.
  • Product origin disclaimer: Some items may ship directly from our international manufacturing partners to maintain high quality standards and competitive prices. All purchases remain covered by UK consumer rights.
  • Risk passes to you once the goods are physically received by you (or your nominated recipient, not the courier).
  • Title (ownership) passes to you only after full payment is received.

8. Cancellation (14-Day Cooling-Off)

As a UK & Irish consumer, you have a legal right to cancel your online purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason. This does not apply to sealed hygiene items (once unsealed), custom-made items, or perishable goods. 9. Faulty or Not-as-Described Items

Your rights under UK & Irish consumer law remain unaffected. If a product is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose, you have the right to request a repair, replacement, or refund. You also have a 30-day short-term right to reject faulty goods for a full refund.

10. Promotions, Vouchers & Gift Cards

  • Promotions may have their own conditions and can be modified or withdrawn where lawful.
  • Vouchers and gift cards are non-transferable, not redeemable for cash and may carry expiry dates or usage limits.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use our site or services for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
  • Introduce malicious code or attempt to gain unauthorised access.
  • Harvest or misuse other users’ data.

12. Third-Party Tools & Links

We may provide access to third-party tools or links we do not control. Use of such tools or links is at your own risk and subject to those third parties’ own terms and policies.

13. Relationship with Shopify

14. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or for breach of your statutory rights.

  • Our Services are provided on an “as available” basis.
  • We exclude all implied warranties where legally allowed.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profits, revenue, or data.
  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant goods.
  • International delivery disclaimer: We are not liable for indirect losses caused by customs processing delays or events beyond our control. Your statutory UK rights remain unaffected.

15. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control — including strikes, industrial action, war, fire, flood, epidemic/pandemic, or transport disruptions.

16. General

  • Assignment: You may not assign your rights without our consent. We may assign these Terms as part of a business sale or reorganisation.
  • Severability: If any provision is found invalid, the rest remains enforceable.
  • No Waiver: Failure to enforce any part of these Terms is not a waiver of our rights.
  • Updates: We may update these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be published on our website with a new effective date.

17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales for UK customers, and by Irish law for customers residing in Ireland.
Nothing in these Terms affects your mandatory consumer rights under the applicable consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
